Installing the Horizon Client


Step 1.

Click the following link to download and install VMWare: Download VMWare Horizon Client (the file should go to your Downloads folder which you can find by clicking on the Folder shaped icon in your Taskbar)



Step 2.

Look for the VMWare Horizon Client icon and double-click it to launch the installer once it's done downloading.

Step 3.


On the Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? screen click Yes.

Step 4.
Click the green Agree & Install button

The installer will run, and if it completes successfully, you can click the green Finish button.

You will be prompted to restart your computer when the installation is complete, you can select either option to continue with the setup.

After this step, please continue to Setting up the Horizon Client below.



Setting Up the Horizon Client


Step 1.

After the computer restarts, open the “VMware Horizon Client” application from your menu or desktop.

Step 2.

Select Add Server so you can enter the work at home server address.

Step 3.

Enter https://waha-view.contactusinc.com or https://desktops.vdi.contactusinc.com (if you are with Domestic & General or CollegeBoard in the bar and click the green Connect to continue.

Continue below for Logging in to Horizon



Logging in to Horizon


**These steps will be required every time you log in to your ContactUS environment so ensure that your mobile device that is now registered is always with you. 
If you have not yet set up your ContactUS MFA, please follow the steps located here.



Step 1. 

Open the Horizon View Application and double click on the cloud icon with the address entered in Step 1.

Step 2.

Enter your ContactUS username and password.

NOTE: Even though this box says username and passcode it is asking for your password from previous steps.

Step 3.

In the box that comes up, enter the code from the Authenticator app that you installed on your phone  (depending on which method is set as your primary one, you may receive this code in a text instead) and click Login.

If it asks you to enter your password again, please do so.

Step 4.

Select the appropriate computer image. In most cases you will only have one.

The one you see above may not be the same as the option you have, this will depend on which client you are in training for.



You will be greeted with a blue ContactUS security and privacy notice screen; you can click OK.

Once the ContactUS desktop loads you may also receive a notification to enable drive sharing. Click deny. From here you will have access to your ContactUS desktop environment and necessary client tools and applications for work.
