Download the Microsoft Authenticator app from the App store on your iPhone, or Google Play store for Android devices. Then click, Next. Step 7. If prompted, allow notifications for the app then add an account and select “Work or school”, then Next. Step 8. Choose Scan QR code in the app on your phone and scan the QR code on your computer screen using your phone’s camera, then click Next. Step 9. A push notification will be sent to your phone from the Authenticator app that you will need to approve before you can move to the next step. You can open the app to do this. Step 10. When you approve this notification, click Next and you will see a message that the authenticator was added, and your Security Info page should now look like the second screenshot. Step 11. Adding the remaining authentication methods Click Add sign-in method and choose Phone Enter in your personal phone number, click Next and Microsoft will send you a text containing the code. Add it in the following screen. When you click Next you should see the following confirmation. Click Add sign-in method one more time and choose Email, enter your email in the following screen, click Next.
